Install Itunes Linux Debian
With Windows installed, launch your preferred Windows web browser and download iTunes from Apple; Install iTunes in Windows and you should be good to go. So, while this isn’t truly running iTunes in Linux, it does give you access to iTunes and its features from a Linux computer. For Apple being a 'linux' based type system, no, iTunes does not work in Linux, and I have heard it will not even work in wine. I have not gone through whatever needs to be gone through to verify that part of it, instead I keep a copy of windows on my hdd.
I have ipod nano 8gb and it does not work with debian/ubuntu because iTunes is not available for Debian/Ubuntu. I have to use XP via virtualbox to transfer music to ipod and it is not easy and time consuming and slow too.
Is there any plans of Apple to release any type of itunes alternative or support for Debian/Ubuntu or any plugin for rhythembox to trasfer music to iPod.
Debian Manual Install
It is vary big problem with apple products that they do not support linux and this is the reason that I don't buy another apple product again. Apple iPOD has nice looks ,slim & good interface as compared to other iPOD's but its software(iTunes) is very very bad even on windows.

Apple has not announced any plans to create a version of iTunes for Linux. Whether they will ever do so is something none of us here can say, though with the very small overall marketshare of Linux on the desktop, it seems to me unlikely in the foreseeable future. You can express your interest to Apple here, if you wish:
Itunes Linux Apple
Would it work if Apple were to create something similar to Apple TV for iTunes in the form of hardware?

Sorry, but I have no idea what you mean by this.
